Job Fair for Skilled Workers and Professionals

Teachers, medical practitioners, IT professionals and seafarers are highly in-demand abroad. There has been a shortage of these professions in the First World countries and most employers prefer to hire Filipino workers.

Thus, to give professionals a chance to work abroad, vidres.net will hold an overseas job fair dubbed as “Vidres Overseas Job Fest” on April 3-4, 2008, at the Clampshell 2 at Gen. Luna cor Anda St. Intramuros Manila. This is FREE ADMISSION.

The overseas job fest is for Filipino medical practitioners, educators, IT professionals and seafarers who want to work abroad. They will also give free seminars, free video resumes, free training analyses, games and raffles provided that you will pre-register at their site.

They will conduct free seminars for English proficiency, how to get a high score in IELTs, how to get a successful job interview.

To confirm the participation, the applicants are required to pre-register at their website. For more details please email them at jobfest2008@vidres.net. The previous February 28 to 29 schedule was moved because of the mass rallies and demonstrations held that day.

Vidres.net and WorkAbroad.ph the leading overseas job portal in the Philippines will be featured on DZMM’s radio program Sikap Pinoy hosted by Apple Bautista and Nelson Lubao this Sunday (March 9, 2008) from 9 to 10 am. The General Manager of WokAbroad, Mr. Robert John Oh will be one of the guests as the show tackles overseas opportunities for Filipinos among others.
